OUR MISSION

This organization’s mission is to advocate for all residents by bringing everyone together to practice the principle of “Collective Impact” and to pool our resources to aid and assist one another to improve the quality of life in the Camp Curtin community.

We believe that everyone -  from the youth to the elderly, and all creeds and ethnicities -  has a right to self-determination and should have a say in what goes on in their community.

Where is Camp Curtin?

The historic boundaries of the Camp Curtin neighborhood place it in the southeast quadrant of the Uptown district of Harrisburg PA. We define "Historic Camp Curtin" as the area bounded on the west by North 5th Street; on the south by Maclay Street; on the east by North 7th Street and the north by Schuylkill Street.

However, as we are committed to serving the historically underrepresented and underserved neighborhoods of Uptown Harrisburg, CCNU membership is open to those residing in the area bounded on the west by Penn Street; on the south by Kelker Street; on the east by North 7th Street and the north by Division Street.
